Mon January 5th, 2009 : Singh Switches To Srixon Balls And Sticks With Cleveland Golf And Never Compromise

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA

SRIXON is proudly to announced today that Vijay Singh has signed multi-year contracts with both brands. Singh, the winner of 57 tournaments worldwide, including 3 majors, and over $60 million on the PGA Tour alone is switching to play SRIXON golf balls. The reigning FedExCup champion also extended his equipment contract with Cleveland Golf, although the Cleveland Golf logo that donned the front of his visor has been moved to the side making room for a new corporate sponsor.

"I’ve thoroughly tested SRIXON balls and I’m convinced that they’re better than what I’ve been playing. This also virtually assures that I will be playing Cleveland Golf clubs, a Never Compromise putter and SRIXON golf balls for the rest of my PGA Tour career, and I am very happy about that," said Singh, who has endorsed Cleveland Golf since 2000 and Never Compromise since 2004.

“We are extremely pleased to keep Vijay in the clubs that have brought him such great success over the years,” said Greg Hopkins, President/CEO of Cleveland Golf/Srixon. “Vijay is very excited about playing our new SRIXON balls, which tells us that 2009 will be another big year for him.”

Singh, known as the hardest working man in golf, currently plans on playing Cleveland’s Launcher ’09 driver and fairway woods, CG Tour irons, CG12 wedges, a Never Compromise putter and SRIXON balls.

On the first hole of sudden death Furyk and Harrington faced eagle putts but Harrington’s putt had a little too much speed and he tapped it in for birdie. Furyk then stepped up and sank his 8-foot eagle putt for the victory. Furyk was competing in his fourth PGA Grand Slam of Golf and earned his second win collecting $600,000.

Furyk uses the SRIXON Pro 100 irons, SRIXON prototype wedges in 50, 55, 60 lofts and the SRIXON Z-URC golf ball.

Wed June 9th, 2008 : SRIXON's Allenby Is Runner-Up At Stanford St. Jude Championship

SRIXON's Robert Allenby had weekend rounds of 69 and 65 to finish 4-under par at the Stanford St. Jude Championship and tied for second after earning a spot in the three-man playoff. Allenby earned $528,000 for second and took a big jump forward to No. 11 in the FedExCup Points.

Allenby, ranked No. 1 in Greens in Regulation last week, had pin point accuracy with his SRIXON 701 Tour irons and the SRIXON Z-UR golf ball. He also used the new SRIXON Z-RW driver, which he ranked No. 5 in accuracy last week, averaging 299 yards off the tee.

The SRIXON Z-RW driver features a Starburst Power Face design which creates a uniform trampoline effect all over the clubface. The Z-RW driver also includes four different bulge-and-roll zones to help minimize dispersion while increasing the gear effect that helps shots hit off the toe or heel bend back toward the middle.

Allenby's game is peaking at the right time as he heads to Torrey Pines this week for the 2008 U.S. Open Championship. He has recorded three top-tens in the last six weeks. Also playing in the U.S. Open is SRIXON's Jim Furyk, Henrik Stenson, Tim Clark, John Rollins and Steve Flesch.

Tue June 3rd, 2008 : SRIXON's Webb Runner-Up At Ginn Tribute, Allenby Finishes In Top 10 At Memorial

SRIXON's Karrie Webb finished at 14 under par at the Ginn Tribute hosted by Annika last weekend, but lost in a one-hole playoff to finish second. On the PGA Tour, SRIXON's Robert Allenby shot even par at the difficult Murifield Village Golf Club to finish T-10th at the Memorial Tournament.

Webb, who has already recorded three top 10s in only eight starts on tour this year, uses the SRIXON Z-URS golf ball and the new Z-RW driver. She is currently No. 8 on the Money List going into next week's second major of the season, the McDonalds LPGA Championship.

Allenby, which ranked No. 2 in Greens in Regulation last week, uses SRIXON irons and the SRIXON Z-UR golf ball. This is his fourth top-10 finish this year and he is currently No. 24 on the tour's Money List and No. 22 in the FedEx Cup standings.

The SRIXON Z-URS golf ball consists of the softest urethane cover the company has ever created. The ball provides soft feel on all shots from tee to green and greenside spin control on approach shots. The ball features a high trajectory 330-dimple pattern that provides a strong and penetrating trajectory in all wind conditions.

Tue May 27th, 2008 : SRIXON Wins On European Tour And Finishes Second On PGA Tour

SRIXON's Miguel Angel Jimenez came from four shots back on Sunday to win the European PGA Tour's BMW PGA Championship. Jimenez forced a playoff and sunk a 2-foot birdie on the second playoff hole to claim victory. On the PGA Tour, SRIXON's Tim Clark finished T-2nd at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.

Using the SRIXON Z-URS golf ball, Jimenez fired rounds of 70-67-72-68 to finish at 11-under-par 277. His finish launched him to the top of the Order of Merit and will almost certainly earn him his third Ryder Cup appearance in September.

Clark once again was a bridesmaid, finishing second at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. Clark birdied 16 and 17 on Sunday and lipped out on 18 to record his fourth career second-place finish. He played solid all week with rounds of 68-69-64-66 with his SRIXON irons and Z-URC golf ball.

Jimenez and Clark will be teeing it up in two weeks at the 2008 U.S. Open. Joining them at Torrey Pines will be SRIXON players Jim Furyk, Henrik Stenson, Robert Allenby, John Rollins and Steve Flesch.

Tue May 13th, 2008 : Hennie Otto wins his first European event in the Italian Open.

HENNIE OTTO

Congratulations to 31 year old South African Hennie Otto, who held off all contenders to win his first European Tour Event - The Italian Open this weekend.

This win means Srixon have had two European wins in succession, following on from Peter Lawrie's success in Seville last week.

This win comes on the back of 7 successes on his native South African Tour and gives Hennie a 3 year exemption in Europe.

It also means that Srixon now have 5 ball users in the current European Order of Merit top 20, which should be headed tomorrow morning by Henrik Stenson following his top 20 finish in the Players Championship.

Hennie uses the Z-UR Series, 506 Irons and Srixon Wedges and Gloves.

PETER LAWRIE

Last weekend, 34 year old Staff Player Peter Lawrie, finally broke his European tour duck, with victory this weekend in a dramatic play off at the 2008 Spanish Open at the Real Club de Golfe at Sevilla.

A closing round of 67 saw him tied after 72 holes on 15 under par with local favourite Ignacio Garrido and with fellow Srixon player Miguel Angel Jimenez 2 strokes further back.

After sharing pars on the first hole, a spectacular fairway bunker shot with an 8 iron saw Lawrie find the heart of the green and he knew victory was assured when Garrido's approach landed pin high but agonizingly spun back into the lake.

This maiden victory for the young man from Dublin saw him jump a staggering 76 places to 12th in the 2008 Order of Merit and completed a hat trick of victories in the last 3 weeks for Irish Golfers, coming on the back of wins for Damien Mc Grane and Darren Clarke and this is guaranteed to ensure even greater interest in the Irish Open in 2 weeks time.

Like most of Srixon's staff players, Lawrie uses the Srixon Z-URS ball and also their highly successful 701 Iron and this was the Srixon's 7th International Victory this year.

It was a good weekend all round for the Srixon, with Miguel Angel Jimenez as mentioned above, finishing in 3rd place, and on the USPGA Tour, Robert Allenby was 4th with Jim Furyk 7th in the Wachovia Championships.

Srixon wins in 2008 climb to 9 - watch this space!

Mon May 12th, 2008 : Chawalit Breaks Career Million-Dollar Mark

Sentosa, May 12: Thailand's sweet-swinging Chawalit Plaphol has added another feather in his cap when he surpassed the US$1 million barrier in career earnings after the conclusion of the Pine Valley Beijing Open on Sunday.

Chawalit's tied 35th finish at the Pine Valley Golf Club in China's capital city saw him take his career winnings to US$1,002,284 and made him the seventh player from Thailand, and the 21st overall, to reach the milestone.

His achievement also ensured that Thailand maintained its leading position as the country with the most number of golfing millionaires on the Asian Tour with seven stars hitting the career landmark.

Compatriot Thongchai Jaidee, who showed a welcome return to form with a tied seventh finish in China, heads the career earnings with his collection of US$2.6 million, followed by India's Jyoti Randhawa with US$2.2 million.

On the latest Asian Tour's Order of Merit, there was no change in the top-10 of the rankings with New Zealand's Mark Brown heading the race for the region's coveted title with his haul of US$651,093.

India's Jeev Milkha Singh is second on US$540,694 after the conclusion of 12 tournaments in the 2008 season. With plenty to play for, both Brown and Singh could make history by becoming the first players to surpass US$1 million in earnings in a single season in Asia.

A fourth place finish in the Chinese capital, which will host the Olympic Games in August, saw Tony Carolan of Australia move up to 21st place on the Order of Merit while Fijian Dinesh Chand moved up to 36th position after finishing third on Sunday.

Chand, who grew up caddying for former world number one Vijay Singh who is an Asian Tour honorary member, has played primarily on the Japan Golf Tour over the past decade but said he was enjoying his stint on the Asian Tour.

"This is a great result for me. The collaboration between the Japan Golf Tour and Asian Tour (in sanctioning the Beijing Open) is a good move and I hope to see more of these events take place," said Chand.

"Finishing strongly in this event helps me in both ways, in Asia and Japan. I hope to focus my game on the Asian Tour more and I want to finish strongly here. I enjoy playing on the Asian Tour."

The Asian Tour takes a short break before resuming with the 13th leg at the Bangkok Airways Open in Samui, Thailand from June 5-8.

Tue May 6th, 2008 : 2008 Campaigns Underway!

Over the past 3 years Srixon has made quite a name for itself with "Attitudinal " Marketing Campaigns that are certainly different to those of it's main Competitors.

These have been an integral part of Srixon becoming the UK's Fastest Growing Golf ball Company and in 2007 Srixon became the Number One 2 piece ball brand and the AD 333 became the best selling 2 piece ball in the UK Market as well.

The Marketing Campaign for 2008 is by far and away the most impactful yet and is at the forefront of Srixon's efforts to increase it's market share in the 3 piece sector.

A Boxing theme throughout shows the 3 piece Z-UR Series tackling the top selling Titleist Pro V1 range head on with a " Big Fight " campaign and illustrating that there is an alternative ball to PRO V1 for golfers to buy and the fact that Srixon is now the top selling 2 piece ball brand is highlighted with " Champion " for the 2 piece ball range, showing Srixon to have knocked out all it's main competitors in this field in 2007.

The Campaign can be found in all leading Golfing Magazines throughout the coming season and is supported by a fantastic In-Store programme featuring the same Boxing theme, that will be found in all leading On-Course and Off-Course Golf stores.

In addition, there are special trial promotions running at selected times and also an On Line campaign using the Big Fight theme that can be found on the leading Golfalot and GolfMagic sites.

Tue May 6th, 2008 : Tour Victories for 2008 off to a great start

Srixon enjoyed 37 international tour victories in 2006, and 39 in 2007.

These wins have been followed with a great start to 2008, with 6 by the beginning of April 2008, including 2 for the young New Zealander Mark Brown, and also victories for Karrie Webb and Laura Davies with two more from Srixon's host of Far East players.

Peter Lawrie of Dublin makes it Srixon's 7th after he broke his European tour duck, with victory this weekend in a dramatic play off at the 2008 Spanish Open at the Real Club de Golfe at Sevilla.

In total there are more than 250 International Tour Players using Srixon products, including Henrik Stenson and Jim Furyk

Mon May 5th, 2008 : Srixon's Lawrie Wins European Tour Event Using I-701 Irons and Z-URS Golf Ball

Srixon staff professional Peter Lawrie fired four birdies in his last six holes to force a playoff at the European Tour's Open de España. He secured the victory on the second playoff hole with a par. The win moved him from 88th to 12th on the Order of Merit.

The 34-year-old Irishman had pinpoint accuracy all week with his Srixon I-701 irons and Z-URS golf ball. Lawrie also used Srixon wedges and No. 5 fairway wood.

The recently introduced I-701 irons feature a pocket cavity structure, which effectively lowers and deepens the I-701's center of gravity allowing for an extremely stable clubhead through impact and making it easier to get the ball airborne for high, straight iron shots.

On the PGA Tour, Srixon's Robert Allenby and Jim Furyk finished fourth and seventh respectfully at the Wachovia Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Mon April 21th, 2008 : Srixon's Furyk Finishes Fourth At Verizon Heritage

ATLANTA, GA, April 21, 2008

Srixon's Jim Furyk fired four rounds in the 60s to finish fourth at the Verizon Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links. The finish was Furyk's third top-10 finish of the year. John Rollins and Robert Allenby also played well finishing T-14th. Allenby has made 11 consecutive cuts, which is the best current streak on the PGA Tour this year.

Furyk, using Srixon irons and the Z-URC golf ball, recorded 16 birdies and 51 pars for the four rounds. He also had the ball rolling smoothly on the greens, averaging 25.8 putts per round. With another top-10 finish, Furyk moved up 10 spots in FedEx Cup points and is now 17th.

Allenby had a hole-in-one during Friday's round, the ace coming on the par-3 fourth hole using a Srixon 5-iron and Z-UR golf ball. Mon April 14th, 2008 : Flesch And Jimenez Finish In Top Ten At The Masters With Srixon Z-URC and Z-URS Golf Ball

ATLANTA, GA, April 14, 2008

Srixon's Z-URC and Z-URS golf ball recorded two top-10 finishes at the Masters. Staff professional Steve Flesch had a great week, hovering all four days near the top of the leaderboard and finishing T-5th. Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez finished T-8th after shooting a final round 68 for the best round of the day.

Flesch uses the Srixon's Z-URC golf ball, which is designed with the softest urethane-elastomer cover the company has ever developed and results in outstanding spin control on approach shots and around the green. Underneath the cover technology, the Z-URC features a large energetic gradient growth core that produces tremendous velocity combined with optimal launch conditions. The result is pinpoint precision and distance control for the world's best players.

Since switching to the Srixon Z-URC golf ball in July, Flesch has won twice and recorded two top-10 finishes.

Jimenez uses the Srixon Z-URS golf ball, which also consists of the softest urethane cover the company has ever created. The ball provides soft feel on all shots from tee to green and greenside spin control on approach shots. The ball features a high trajectory 330-dimple pattern that provides a strong and penetrating trajectory in all wind conditions.

Mon March 3rd, 2008 : Srixon's Mark Brown Wins Back-To-Back Weeks On European And Asian Tours
Allenby, Davis, Van Zyl And Webb Finish In Top 10 On Respective Tours

Srixon staff professional Mark Brown fired a final-round 67 to win by three shots at the European Tour's Johnnie Walker Classic. The win is Brown's second successive tournament victory, as he won the Asian Tour's SAIL Open last week. Brown's Johnnie Walker victory earned him an exemption to play on the European Tour through 2010.

The 33-year-old New Zealander had pinpoint accuracy all week with his Srixon I-701 irons and Z-URS golf ball. On the final nine holes of Sunday's round, he recorded four straight birdies, holes 12-15, to take the lead and secure the victory.

On the PGA Tour, Srixon's Robert Allenby finished T-4th at the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens and Brian Davis finished T - 7th. Allenby credits his strong play to the confidence he has in his complete bag of Srixon equipment, which includes Srixon I-506 irons, W-403 fairway woods, the new Z-RW driver, WG-706 wedges and Z-UR golf ball. Davis, who led after two rounds, uses the new Srixon I-701 Tour irons and the multi-layer Z-URS golf ball.

Karrie Webb finished T-5th at the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore using the Srixon I-701 Tour irons, Z-RW driver, WG-706 wedges and Z-URS golf ball. On the Sunshine Tour, Jaco Van Zyl finished T-3rd using the Z-URS golf ball.

The recently introduced I-701 irons feature a pocket cavity structure, which effectively lowers and deepens the I-701's center of gravity allowing for an extremely stable clubhead through impact and making it easier to get the ball airborne for high, straight iron shots.

Mon March 3rd, 2008 : Mark Brown bags two wins in two weeks.

Now placed seventh on The European Tour Order of Merit, Brown looks forward to exciting opportunities in 2008. "I would love to play in Europe," he said. "Asia has been fantastic for me the last year and a half and a great stepping stone for me coming back into the game so I would love to support them as well. Hopefully I can play a bit of both."

On his achievements of the last two weeks he said: "I have worked extremely hard for this and it is a dream come true. I played for eight or nine years first time round and I wasn't good enough physically or mentally. I have worked for three years to come back and my coach Mal Tongue has been a tremendous support. Mon February 4th, 2008 : Srixon's Karrie Webb Wins Her Fourth Women's Australian Open

Srixon Staff Professional Karrie Webb won her fourth Women's Australian Open title with a 10-foot birdie putt Sunday on the second playoff hole. She shot a final-round 67, including birdies at 16 and 17, at Kingston Heath Golf Club to finish at 8-under par and force a playoff. Webb had won the title previously in 2000, 2002 and 2007.

Webb, the No. 3 player in the world, was very accurate off the tee and around the greens all week with her Srixon Z-RW driver, I-701 Tour irons, W-706 wedges and Z-URS golf ball. This is Webb's 46th career win since turning professional in 1994.

Srixon introduced the Z-RW driver and I-701 Tour irons in September. The Z-RW driver features a unique 4-zone face design, where the bulge and roll of the face differs in four different zones. This controls sidespin by optimizing the gear effect on shots struck in those specific zones. The I-701 Tour iron is a 1025 forged carbon steel cavity back with a thin topline combined with minimal offset which is the setup profile preferred by better players. It features a unique face press milling treatment and engraved U grooves to create spin in all playing conditions.

Srixon's popular Z-URS golf ball consists of the softest urethane cover the company has ever created. The ball provides soft feel on all shots from tee to green and greenside spin control on approach shots. The ball features a high trajectory 330-dimple pattern that provides a strong and penetrating trajectory in all wind conditions.
